Mrs. Tiffin died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Dallas.

She was born Jan. 6, 1929, the daughter of Thomas Grant and Erma Elizabeth (Boswell) Roberts.

Mrs. Tiffin taught physical education in the Dallas Independent School District for more than 35 years. She was a member of Oak Ridge Country Club and attended Fellowship Bible Church in Dallas.

Survivors include a daughter, Patti Hasting, Columbus, Ga., formerly of Lawrence, Kan., and two grandsons.

The family suggests memorials to the athletic department of her grandsons’ school, Brookstone School, 440 Bradley Park Drive, Columbus, GA 31904.
