Charles City, Iowa ervices for Mary I. Drake, 63, Charles City, were Wednesday at Faith Bible Chapel in Charles City. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.
Mrs. Drake died Dec. 21, 2003, in Mason City.
She was born Feb. 9, 1940, in Lawrence, Kan., the daughter of Thomas R. and Anna M. (Eizenhamer) Patterson. She attended and graduated from school in Lawrence.
Mrs. Drake was a member of Wesleyan Methodist Church in Charles City. She was a home health aide with Floyd County Home Health for many years until retiring in 2002. She also taught Head Start for 20 years in Floyd County and worked part-time at the Buy Low Self Serve in Charles City.
Survivors include her mother, Lawrence; three sons, Forrest Drake, Mason City, Damon Drake, Jeffersonville, Ind., and Brendan Drake, Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Fawn Boynton, California, and Darcy Lee, Mason City; a sister, Amanda Barnes, Baldwin, Kan.; four brothers, George Patterson, McCook, Neb., and Joseph Patterson, Robert Patterson and James Patterson, all of Lawrence; and eight grandchildren.
Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home in Charles City was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
