Ivalee Isabell McCreary

Mrs. McCreary died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Baldwin Care Center.

She was born Dec. 28, 1907, in Calvert, the daughter of Jasper and Jenny (Bennett) Miller. She attended Calvert School before she moved to Norton and graduated from Norton Community High School in 1926. She also graduated from Barnes Business School in Denver.

Mrs. McCreary was a homemaker and managed real estate investments. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Norton, Order of the Eastern Star and various other social clubs. In 1996 she moved from Norton to the Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, where she lived until moving to Baldwin on Oct. 31, 2003.

She married Frederick E. McCreary on May 30, 1930, in Norton. He died Sept. 12, 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Frederick E. Norton Jr., Baldwin, and William A. Norton, Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
