Davis services

? Graveside services for Paul Isaac Davis, 90, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Mr. Davis died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at Eudora Nursing Center.

He was born June 11, 1912, in Milan, Mo., the son of Virgil I. and Mae (Ayers) Davis.

Mr. Davis owned and operated Bread Basket Bakery in Kansas City, Kan., from the late 1960s to the late 1980s. He worked for Santa Fe Railroad from 1950 until the late 1960s and farmed in Humphreys, Mo.

Survivors include a son, Gary, Baldwin; a brother, Harold, St. Joseph, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A son, Harold, a grandson and a great-grandson died earlier.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday before a procession to the cemetery.
