Norma J. Magnuson

Topeka ? Services for Norma J. Magnuson, 89, Topeka, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Midtown Chapel, Topeka. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Magnuson died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at a Topeka care facility.

She was born June 6, 1914, in Netawaka, the daughter of Clyde and Lillian (Sewell) Amon.

Mrs. Magnuson owned and operated a drug store in the Scranton area for many years. She was a member of Crestview United Methodist Church in Topeka.

She married Carl E. Magnuson on April 16, 1957, in Scranton. He died April 5, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Don K. Magnuson, Manhattan, and Jerry R. Magnuson, Lawrence; two sisters, Ferne Hopkins, Paris, Texas, and Violet Bristow, Bakersfield, Calif.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
