An Eagle Court of Honor was given for Daniel Ohlemeier, of Boy Scout Troop 55 in Lawrence. The ceremony was Nov. 16 at the Burgess Scout Cabin at Westside Presbyterian Church. Master of ceremony was Joseph Wilson. The Eagle charge was given by Robert Gibler, Scoutmaster of Troop 55.

Daniel started Scouting as a Tiger Cub in St. Joseph, Mo. He continued with Cub Scouts in Lexington , Ky., eventually joining Troop 282. He moved to Lawrence in 1999 and joined Troop 55. He attained Eagle rank on Sept. 23. He is a senior at Lawrence High School.

Cub Scout Pack 3059, chartered to the First Presbyterian Church of Lawrence, recently completed its fund-raising project. Cub Scouts sold Trail’s End popcorn products. The top sellers were: Travis Sherve, Dillon Schroeder, Daniel Clausing, Ryan Schroeder and Corbin Robinson. Proceeds from the sale help pay for summer camp fees and other activities.

Boy Scout Troop 62, chartered to the Linwood Lions Club, recently had a change of youth and adult leadership. New Scout leaders are: Joe Kelly, senior patrol leader; Tyler Thomas, assistant senior patrol leader and Order of Arrow troop representative; CJ King, librarian; Brian Pemberton, quartermaster; Logan Ross, assistant quartermaster; Ryan Ellis, scribe; Matthew Beeves, bugler; Clinton Kissinger, chaplain; John Hopkins, historian; Tommy Schlagel, assistant historian; and Paul Schlagel, safety chairman. Adult leaders are: Mike Kissinger, Scoutmaster; Mike Ellis, assistant Scoutmaster and advancement chairman; Mike Pemberton, assistant Scoutmaster and Webmaster; and Mark Ross, committee chairman.
