Train derails in North Lawrence
A Union Pacific coal train derailed in north Lawrence at 8:15 p.m. According to Journal-World reports, 17 cars derailed, 15 of which are lying on their sides. The crew was not injured and the locomotive did not derail. The cause of the accident is not yet determined.
