Baylor clobbers SE Louisiana

? Sophia Young, Emily Niemann and Steffanie Blackmon combined for 46 points Monday, leading Baylor to an easy 79-46 victory over Southeastern Louisiana.

Young scored 18 points. Niemann had 16, including four three-pointers, and Blackmon scored 12 points and had eight rebounds. Niemann also had three blocked shots.

The Lady Bears (7-1) opened the game with a 15-0 run over the first 6:30 and took a 39-18 lead into halftime. Southeastern missed its first 10 shots. Baylor repeated itself to start the second half, this time with a 17-1 run over the first eight minutes. The Lady Bears led by as much as 37 points.

LaSha Stover led SE Louisiana (2-2) with 12 points.
