To the editor:

I would like to thank all those involved in collecting, cleaning and distributing the coats, sweaters and blankets in the “Share the Warmth” coat distribution project.

Scotch Fabric Care Services has provided the facilities for cleaning and distributing the warm clothing for 17 years. This is another example of the assistance local Lawrence businesses provide to the people of Lawrence and Douglas County.

The Share the Warmth project was a total success. Thank you to all the people that helped make it possible for people in Lawrence and Douglas County to have warm clothing for the winter season.

Thank you Scotch Fabric Care Services and the people of Lawrence and Douglas County from the advisory board of the Lawrence Salvation Army.
