Four HINU players selected All-CSFL

Four Haskell Indian Nations University players earned berths on the Central States Football League’s all-star team.

HINU players named were freshman running back Chad Murphy, junior offensive lineman Dale Black Cloud, freshman defensive lineman Blaine Wise and junior defensive back Martin Woods.

Two other Fightin’ Indians were chosen for the second team — junior linebacker Matt Kalfsbeck and senior place-kicker Brent Blythe.

The Indians finished with a 3-6 overall record, 1-4 in the CSFL.

NAIA honors Baker’s Meyer

Baldwin — Baker University’s Elaine Meyer has earned honorable mention on the NAIA All-America volleyball team.

Meyer, a senior from Wichita, led the Heart of America Athletic Conference in service receptions and ranked second in digs.
