Key senator to deliver Landon Lecture at KSU

Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle will speak as part of the Landon Lecture Series, Kansas State University officials announced Tuesday.

Daschle will speak at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 26 in McCain Auditorium on the campus in Manhattan. His lecture also can be heard on the Internet at www.k-state.edu/landon.

Daschle, a Democrat from South Dakota, was first elected to the Senate in 1986 after serving four terms in the U.S. House. He is a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee and has served on veterans, Indian affairs, finance and ethics committees.
