Cora V. Roth

Mrs. Roth died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003, at Mennonite Friendship Manor in Hutchinson.

She was born Feb. 14, 1911, in Abbyville, the daughter of Valentine and Catherine Schmucker Farney. She was a longtime resident of the Abbyville and Sterling communities.

Mrs. Roth was a homemaker and member of Sterling Evangelical Bible Church.

She married Eldon D. Roth on June 11, 1935, in Sterling. He died April 7, 1994.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn McDonald, Cottage Grove, Ore., and Glenna Graham, Lawrence; a brother, Harvey Farney, Hutchinson; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Elliott Mortuary in Hutchinson, where the family will receive them from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
