Alice L. Alexander

Glenwood Springs, Colo. ? Services for Alice L. Alexander, 78, Glenwood Springs, Colo., will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs. Burial will be in Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.

Mrs. Alexander died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003.

She was born July 16, 1925, in Breckenridge, the daughter of James and Gladys McKenna. She graduated from Aspen High School in 1943, when she moved to Glenwood Springs.

Mrs. Alexander worked at the Office of Public Assistance in Glenwood Springs. She was later a switchboard operator at AT&T. She was an active member of the St. Stephens Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters.

She married Ernest R. Alexander on June 5, 1950, in Glenwood Springs. He died Dec. 23, 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anne Alexander-Kort, Lawrence, Kan., and Alice M. Alexander, Denver; and two grandchildren.

A rosary service will be at 7 p.m. today at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood Springs.
