Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures leaped higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Grain prices settled mixed.
Wheat for March delivery fell 3 cents to $4.06 1/2 a bushel; March corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $2.49 3/4 a bushel; March oats rose 1 1/2 cent to $1.48 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans rose 16 1/4 cents to $7.87 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures tumbled on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle fell 1.50 cent to 90.12 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.50 cent to 96.45 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell 2 cents to 52.40 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.70 cent to 85.92 cents a pound.
