As Big 12 champion, No. 13 Kansas State (11-3) gets the automatic BCS bid. No. 1 OU (12-1) is all but guaranteed an at-large bid because of its strength in the BCS ratings. No more than two teams from a conference can get into the BCS.

The bowl destination for Texas, which never has played in a BCS bowl, will be determined today.
