Old-fashioned parade today
Bill Gauchat, Leeton, Mo., grooms Rose, a female Percheron, in a stable at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Rose will pull Gauchat's buggy today in the Old-Fashioned Christmas Parade, which begins at 11 a.m. More than 200 horses pulling carriages and carts decorated for the season will parade from Seventh and Massachusetts streets down to South Park.
