DeAnna Mae Stone

Mrs. Stone died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 28, 1937, in Lawrence, the daughter of Thomas and Irene (Nemec) Kampschroeder. She grew up in Clinton and graduated from Lawrence High School.

Mrs. Stone worked for Southwestern Bell and for King Radio/Honeywell, retiring in 1998. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married Donald Stone. They later divorced.

Survivors include two sons, Brian Stone and Michael Stone, both of Lawrence; a sister, Marjean Goff, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to the DeAnna Stone Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
