Rex D. Guenther

He died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at Eudora Nursing Center.

He was born Oct. 30, 1947, in Lawrence, the son of LaVerne H. and F. Maxine (Daugherty) Guenther.

Mr. Guenther graduated from Eudora High School in 1965 and later attended Kansas City School of Watchmaking. He served four years in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his mother, Lawrence; a son, Russ, Lawrence; a daughter, Jodie Meyersick, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials to Heart of America Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
