Wanna feel old? “Animal House,” the seminal gross-out comedy from 1978, celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer. Spike TV, the network for slobs, er, men, throws a TV toga party with the premiere of “Unseen and Untold: Animal House” (8 p.m. Sunday, Spike), a one-hour documentary about the writing, casting and making of the movie.

For many of the cast members — including Tim Matheson, Kevin Bacon, Karen Allen, Peter Riegert and Tom Hulce — “House” was their first film. All but Hulce appear here to reflect on their “Animal House” experience, which included some serious on-location hijinks. Matheson recalls getting beat up by fraternity brothers who seemed modeled on the snobby Omegas. Bacon remembers being shunned by all of the actors who played Deltas. Director John Landis, writer Harold Ramis and producer Ivan Reitman also wax nostalgic about the project, and everybody mourns the deaths of star John Belushi and co-writer and “National Lampoon” legend Doug Kenny.
