Jennings-Lawler

Connie Detweiler, Lawrence, announces the engagement of her daughter Darcy Jennings to James Lawler, both of Roeland Park.

The bride-to-be is the stepdaughter of Dennis Detweiler, Lawrence, and daughter of Wayne Jennings, Wichita. She is project manager for Osborn-Barr Communications.

The future groom is the son of Tom and Karen Lawler, Clinton, Mo. He is an electrician with Check Electric.

The couple plan a Sept. 20 garden wedding at the Leawood Community Center Amphitheater.
