Mystics’ Miller wins battle of twin sisters

? Coco Miller put aside the awkwardness of facing her twin sister and had her best game as a professional.

Miller scored a career-high 23 points, including a three-pointer in the final minute, and the Washington Mystics beat the Charlotte Sting, 76-69, Thursday night.

“It’s kind of weird and I’d rather not have her on the court at the same time, to tell you the truth,” Miller said of Kelly Miller, who did not score in 10 minutes. “But this is a big win for our team.”

Chamique Holdsclaw had 23 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the Mystics (9-21), who rallied from a nine-point first-half deficit for their second straight win.

After Charlotte cut a 15-point deficit to three, Coco Miller hit a three-pointer from the top of the key with 29 seconds left.

Andrea Stinson scored 20 points and Tynesha Lewis added 13 for the Sting (16-13), who had a two-game winning streak snapped.
