Blue Springs, Mo. ? Tommy Mangino’s two-run, two-out home run in the top of the ninth inning lifted the Lawrence Raiders to an 8-6 American Legion baseball victory Sunday over Blue Springs, Mo. The game was added to give the teams game action during a layoff between state tournaments and regionals.

Derek Bailey had a three-run homer for Lawrence.

Blue Springs will serve as host for the Legion Mid-South Regional. The Raiders (40-10) will face DePere, Wis., at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Ulm, Minn.
