Lita Denise Bateson

Services for Lita Denise Bateson, 41, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Ms. Bateson died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at her home.

She was born Aug. 2, 1961, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Donald M. Luther and Mina J. (Place-Luther) Hundley. She attended Eudora schools.

Ms. Bateson was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Eudora.

Survivors include a son, Brandon D. Bateson, of the home; three daughters, Carrie L. Mann, Lawrence, Cassie J. Baker, Gardner, and Jamie D. Bateson, of the home; her mother and stepfather, Mina J. and William E. Hundley; three brothers, Jerry Luther, Lecompton, Randy Luther, Eudora, and Steve Luther, Pomona; and three sisters, Sandy Elms and Kathy Mallonee, both of Lawrence, and Donna Manker, Baldwin.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
