Dawn Elizabeth DeSha

Ms. DeSha died Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 4, 1955, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Randolph and Naida DeSha. She spent her childhood in Nevada, Mo., before moving to Lawrence.

Ms. DeSha was retired. She had previously worked in medical service in Lawrence.

Survivors include two brothers, Richard DeSha, Spring Lake, N.C., and Randy DeSha, Olathe; and six sisters, Mary Redmon, Warsaw, Mo., Angie DeSha, Jacksonville, Fla., Iva Quillen, Independence, Mo., Sandra Hall, Phillipsburg, Mo., Carol Folks, Edwards, Mo., and Ruth Hall, Lawrence.

The family suggests memorials to a children’s charity of the donor’s choice.
