Kansas Wildscape Foundation, based in Lawrence, has designated next Saturday as Outdoors Kansas for Kids Day.

Wildscape and its program partners plan to have thousands of Kansas kids hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking, hunting and bird watching at parks throughout the state.

OKKids Day is made possible through the financial support of Bass Pro Shops, Capitol Federal Savings and the Kansas Health Foundation.
