Jerusalem ? A Palestinian suicide bomber blew himself up at a train station in the central Israeli town of Kfar Saba during morning rush hour today, killing himself and a security guard and wounding 10 bystanders, police said.

The bomber was stopped by security guards at the entrance to the station, preventing greater casualties, police said. One of the guards was killed.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility, though first reports said the bomber came from the Balata refugee camp in the West Bank.
