The Firebirds (0-4) twice were limited to one run on one hit.

“Obviously their pitcher was good,” FSHS coach Pam Pine said. “We got two hits in 48 at-bats for the day. That’s kind of disappointing, but you’ve got to give her credit.”

The Firebirds will play again today at Olathe South.
