Kansas University has announced the following final examinations:

  • Wendy Geiger, communication studies, “Testing the Effect of Target Sexual Orientation and Stereotype Traits on Anticipated Communicative Behavior during the Initial Interaction,” 9 a.m. Thursday, 213 Strong Hall.
  • Jae-Kyung Lee, hearing and speech, “Clinical Application of Tympanic Cochlear Microphonics for Diagnosis of Meniere’s Disease,” 10 a.m. Thursday, 3005 Miller Hall.

Russia expert to speak at lecture series

Modern-day St. Petersburg will be the topic of a lecture Monday at Kansas University.

Alan Holiman, chairman of the political science department at William Jewell College, will speak on “Life and Politics in 2003 St. Petersburg” at 7 p.m. in the Kansas Room at the Kansas Union.

His lecture is part of the St. Petersburg Tercentenary Lecture Series, which celebrates the city’s 300th anniversary.
