Plemons-Lewis
Brandi Nicole Plemons, Topeka, and Donald Robert Lewis, Lawrence, were married Sept. 14, 2002, at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Topeka with Ted Inman officiating.
The bride’s parents are Tom and Dianne Plemons, Topeka. The groom is the son of Donald Lewis, Muldrow, Okla., and Marilyn Rose, Lawrence.
Matron of honor was Holly Ohrenberg. Best man was Steve Pate. Bridesmaids were Kerry Bowman, Kathy Smith and Heather Plemons. Groomsmen were Richard Diers, Justin Mandeville and Shane Plemons.
Flower girl was Kali Mandeville. Ring bearer was Tristan Pate. Morgan Manning and Heather Ice handed out programs. Guest book attendant was Jeanine Haney. Ushers were Jason Rose and Shawn Gideon. Julie Reis and Pam Menning served cake. Lori Diers served punch.
The couple plan to have a reception Sept. 14 in Berryton.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Highland Park High School, Topeka. She received an associate’s degree from Allen County Community College in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in 2000 from Fort Hays State University. She works for Delmonte Pet Products in Topeka.
The groom graduated from Buhler High School in 1992. He studied automotive repair at Hutchinson Junior College. He is employed by Del Monte Pet Products.
The couple reside in Maple Hill.
Rytting-Lee
Cheryl Suzanne Rytting and Richard Wayne Lee were married May 31, 2002, in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Edwin G. Dewsnup performed the ceremony. The couple were honored at receptions in Orem, Utah, and Lawrence, and at an open house in Meridian, Idaho.
The bride is the daughter of Howard and Kay Rytting, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Grant and Joyce Lee, Meridian, Idaho.
Bridal attendants were Megan Rytting and Janae Rytting. The groom’s attendants were Ryan Lee, Scott Lee and Jason Lee.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence High School. She attended Ricks College and Brigham Young University, graduating in 2002 with a degree in humanities. She served a mission for the Church in Hamburg, Germany, and now works for the NASA Credit Union in Washington, D.C.
The groom graduated from Brigham Young University in 1999 with a degree in economics. He served a mission in St. Petersburg, Russia, for two years. He is pursuing a master’s degree in business at the University of Maryland.
The couple reside in Hyattsville, Md.
