— Services for George William Shrack, 84, Pratt, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Pratt. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

Mr. Shrack died Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham.

He was born June 21, 1918, in Pratt, the son of Orville and Gertrude (Moore) Shrack. He graduated from Pratt High School in 1936 and Kansas State University in 1940. He had lived in Pratt most his life.

Mr. Shrack was a retired farmer and stockman and World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a former member of Pratt County Hospital Board, State Extension Council, Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory, Wichita Midian Shrine, Pratt Shrine Club, Pratt Elks Lodge, Pratt Community College board, KSU Alumni Assn. board and past president of Pratt school board.

He married Phyllis Kipp on Aug. 31, 1941. She died in 1970. He married Royena L. Kipp Fincham on Aug. 3, 1973. She died July 30, 2001.

Survivors include four sons, Phil and Chris, both of Iuka, Kipp, Columbia, Md., and Kent, Lawrence; a daughter, Louise Williams, Pratt; a sister, Dorothy May Randle, Dallas; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Larrison Mortuary in Pratt.

The family suggests memorials to Hilltop Manor, Parkinson's Foundation or Pratt Regional Medical Center-gifts and bequests, sent in care of the mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt 67124-3149.
