At the Kansas University pep rally in Anaheim, Calif., former basketball opponents visit. From left are Bob Boyd, of Palm Desert, Calif., a former basketball coach and player at the University of Southern California; L.G. Noller, Lawrence, president of Noller Cos.; and Bill Hougland, Lawrence, a two-time Olympian and member of the 1952 KU NCAA Championship team. Boyd and Hougland's teams played against each other in 1952. The three watched KU play Duke in the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
