Emporia ? Free State High’s tennis team tied for second and Lawrence High placed sixth at the Emporia Invitational on Saturday. Free State’s Emily Wang won No. 1 singles with a 3-1 record. The Firebirds’ team of Emily Loewen and Lacey Luina went 4-0 and won No. 1 doubles.
