Seabury CC records fall

Lawrence Seabury freshmen Katie Pottorff and Adam Davis each broke school cross-country records at the Tonganoxie Invitational on Thursday.

Pottorff placed ninth in the girls’ race in a time of 13:21. Davis finished the boys’ race in 18:42, good for 31st.

Regan Sisson also won a medal in the girls’ race, finishing 24th in 13:52.

The Seabury girls team finished seventh in the nine-team field with 175 points. DeSoto won the race with 57 points.

The Seabury boys’ team placed last with 258 points. Tonganoxie won the race with 43 points.

Eudora’s Megan Ballock placed fifth in the girls’ race in 13:10. Teammate Cara Seats was 27th in 13:59.

The Eudora boys’ team finished ninth, with a total of 211 points. James Barr was the top Cardinal runner, placing 26th in a time of 18:28.
