On the record

 Lawrence Police took three juveniles into custody at the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Center on suspicion of burglary and damage to property. The youths allegedly broke into a house in the 1300 block of Connecticut Street, damaged a television and ransacked the house. Damage was estimated at about $800. The youths are also suspected of breaking into a camper in the same block and causing damage listed at $2,000.
