Germany unimpressed with dossier on Iraq
Berlin ? Germany refused Wednesday to endorse a British warning about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction and said it remained opposed to war, joining France and China in reacting skeptically to a report the United States called “frightening.”
The German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder was unimpressed.
“What we read there does not differ from what the German government already knew,” government spokesman Uwe-Karsten Heye said Wednesday.
