Seabury rolls in volleyball

? Lawrence Seabury’s volleyball team hammered Englewood Christian Academy on Tuesday, 15-5, 15-5.

After going 1-3 in the McLouth Tournament on Sept. 14, Seahawks coach Tracy Kitson said the result was just what her team needed.

“We really needed a win,” Kitson said. “When we lost all those games, I felt we were really passive and just passing the ball over the net.”

Tuesday, the Seahawks found their game.

“Our team chemistry was good. We were really aggressive and had a lot of attacks,” Kitson said.

Sophomore Laura Frizell had five kills for Seabury, while sophomore Elise Stella served nine straight points during the second game, including six aces.

Seabury travels to the Olpe Tournament this Saturday.
