Kansas won’t have to worry about Stanford in the recruiting battle for high school basketball players David Padgett and Omar Wilkes.

Padgett, 6-foot-11 from Reno, Nev., this week canceled an in-home visit with Stanford coaches and is now down to finalists Kansas, Arizona and North Carolina. Wilkes, 6-4 from Los Angeles, has canceled his campus visit to Stanford and is down to KU, UCLA and California.

The early signing period is Nov. 13-20.
