Kansas University sophomore goalkeeper Meghan Miller was named Big 12 defensive player of the week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Miller recorded shutouts against Evansville and Oakland as Kansas won the Aces Classic in Evansville, Ind. The Seattle native had 11 saves in the tournament. Miller has now blanked her last three opponents to lower her goals against-average to .83. She is second in the Big 12 with 35 saves and third in the conference with three shutouts.
