T passes at the Merc
The city has started selling bus passes at the Community Mercantile, 901 Iowa.
Karin Rexroad, city transit administrator, said the store has longer hours than City Hall, making it easier for some riders to purchase the passes.
“We have had requests from individuals to identify sites that are maybe easier to access than City Hall,” she said.
Monthly passes, which sell for $17, and 10-ride punch cards, for $5, are available at the Merc, which is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Passes also remain on sale between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays on the second floor of City Hall, Sixth and Massachusetts streets.
