Homer Jack Edwards

He was born Nov. 1, 1931, in Oskaloosa, the son of Harry Craig and Hazel (Walker) Edwards.

Mr. Edwards worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. for 31 years, retiring in 1991.

He married Veva McNary. They were later divorced. He married Robbie Criss. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Homer J. Jr., Topeka; five daughters, Carol Jones, Butler, Mo., Glenda Chamber, Harrison, Ark., Dixie Edwards, Dubois, Wyo., Cathy Edwards, Topeka, and Linda Edwards Otto, Topeka; a brother, Lee, Aurora, Mo.; three sisters, Arlene Succi, Burlingame, Mary Watson, Meriden, and Ruth Brey, Oskaloosa; two stepdaughters, Cheri Klindt and Donna Henderson, both of Lawrence; four stepsons, Jerry Wheeler, Kerry Wheeler, and Kelly Wheeler, all of Lawrence, and Buddy Criss, Eudora; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Hospice Care of Douglas County, and they may be sent in care of the Lawrence Funeral Chapel.
