Koetting-Johnston

Lindsay Erin Koetting, Salina, and Andrew David Johnston, Houston, were married April 20, 2002, at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina, with Monsignor James E. Hake officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Richard and Sheri Koetting, Salina. The groom is the son of John and Jane Johnston, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Lindsay Boltz. Best man was Jake Hawkins.

Bridesmaids were Darcie Koetting, Abby Cameron and Ashley Koetting. Groomsmen were Lucas Gillen, Josh Baldwin and Travis Wilkins.

Rylie Koetting, Reagan Koetting and Emily Blair were flower girls. Sam Bowles was ring bearer. Brad Harker, Abel Lucas, Andy Balaun and Isaac Balaun were ushers. Kate Koetting and Audrey Koetting were candle lighters. Zac Stark and Kristine Koetting were servers. Larry Koetting and Steve Koetting were readers. Katie Harker was guestbook attendant. Nicki Koetting and Mackenzie Koetting were program and offertory attendants. Cara Johnston was a soloist. Judy Weber, David Koetting, Dan Diederich, Tim Hobson, Ron McWilliams and Quinton Breese were musicians.

A reception followed at the Holiday Inn Holidome.

The bride is a 1997 Salina South High School graduate. She received a mechanical engineering degree from Kansas State University in 2002. She is employed with ExxonMobil Pipeline Co. as a mechanical engineer.

The groom is a 1996 Lawrence High School graduate. He received a mechanical engineering degree from Kansas State University in 2001. He is employed with Petro Tech, a division of Schlumberger, as a mechanical engineer.

The couple reside in Houston.

Kopp-Mynsted

Karen Elizabeth Kopp and Steven James Mynsted, both of Overland Park, were married June 29, 2002, at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Prairie Village, with the Rev. David Ebersole officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kennard and Nancy Kopp, Manhattan. The groom is the son of Anthony and Karen Mynsted, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Christy Loneragan. Best man was Mark Mynsted.

Bridesmaids were Barbara Thurnau, Jennyfer Owensby and Amy Kopp. Groomsmen were Steve Sharpton, Ryan Dyke and Matt Wickersheim.

Alexis Kopp and Gracen Kopp were flower girls. Scott Caskey, Ryan Edwards and Kirk Kopp were ushers.

A reception followed at Homestead Country Club in Prairie Village.

The bride is a graduate of Manhattan High School and DeVry University. She is an accountant for Universal Underwriters Group in Overland Park.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Emporia State University. He is the managing partner of Rimann Liquors in Prairie Village.

The couple reside in Overland Park.

Foster-Stephens

Stacy Foster and David Stephens, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 10, 2002, at Niagara Falls State Park in Niagara Falls, N.Y., with the Rev. Jeffery Grove officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Donna Foster, Wellsville. The groom is the son of Donald Stephens and Catherine Stephens, both of Lawrence.

The bride is a Baldwin High School graduate. She received an associate’s degree in accounting from Johnson County Community College. She is an accountant for Sprint PCS.

The groom is a Perry-Lecompton High School graduate. He attended Kansas University. He is an assistant manager for Kmart.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
