She was born April 26, 1929, in Burlington, the daughter of Lee and Blanche Combs.

Mrs. Stewart was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 700 in Olathe.

She married Harry J. Stewart in Hutchinson. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Mike Stewart, Louisburg, and David Stewart, Olathe; three daughters, Debra Gross, Shawnee, Julia Fuller, Olathe, and Tamira McFall, Olathe; a brother, Melvin Combs, Osceola, Mo.; a brother-in-law, Robert L. Stewart, Lawrence; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A granddaughter died in 1978.
