Ames, Iowa ? The Kansas University volleyball team defeated Iowa State 3-0 (30-20, 30-26, 30-16) on Wednesday at Hilton Coliseum.

The Jayhawks (16-5, 7-5 Big 12 Conference) recorded a season-high 12 aces. Freshman Josiane Lima and sophomore Lindsey Morris each had three digs.

Junior Sarah Rome had 11 kills and 15 digs. Freshman Andi Rozum had 36 assists against the Cyclones (10-14, 1-11).

Kansas will play host to No. 24 Texas on Saturday.
