Bert M. Haney

Kansas City, Mo. ? Services for Bert M. Haney, 84, Kansas City, Mo., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Park Lawn Chapel in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Haney died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002.

He was born Sept. 28, 1918, in Plad, and spent most of his life in that area.

Mr. Haney was in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years, serving in World War II and Korea, and he retired in 1962 as a sergeant first class.

He married Cecil Haney. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Robin, Lawrence, Kan.; a stepson, Gary Kendrick, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Joe, Springfield; two sisters, Lorene Reser, Springfield, and Alyce Janssen, Burlington, Kan.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Park Lawn Funeral Home.
