Serenata Farms will teach the basics of owning and caring for horses at “Hello Horse,” beginning Monday.

The course meets from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays for six weeks at the farm, 1895 E. 56 Road, Big Springs, between Lawrence and Topeka on U.S. Highway 40. Jeans and boots are recommended, although running shoes are acceptable.

The course costs $180 per session, due at the start of the session. Classes are limited to five students. For more information, call (785) 887-6441.
