Manhattan ? Kansas State men’s basketball assistant coach Robbie Laing is looking for a new job. KSU coach Jim Wooldridge said Laing resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Laing declined to give a specific reason for leaving, but said the decision was family-oriented.

Laing has been an assistant coach at seven NCAA Division One schools during a 20-year period. He will be replaced by Jimmy Elgas, K-State’s director of basketball operations.
