Christina J. Gordzica

Toms River, N.J. ? Services for Christina J. Gordzica, 77, Beachwood, N.J., will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Church, Toms River. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at New Jersey Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.

Mrs. Gordzica died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at Community Medical Center in Toms River.

She was born in New York City. She lived most of her life in Hazlet and Holmdel before she moved in 1999 to Beachwood.

Mrs. Gordzica had her own cosmetics business selling Merle Norman for 21 years before she retired in 1997. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Rosary Altar Society and St. Joseph’s Church. She was a former member of St. Ann’s Church in Keansburg.

She married Michael Gordzica. He died in 1991.

Survivors include a son, Alexander P. Gordzica, Lawrence, Kan.; three daughters, Carolyn E. Schneider and Janina M. Stamoulis, both of Hazlet, and Angelique M. Anderson, Beachwood; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
