Dale Edward Rodecap

He was born July 20, 1935, in Meriden, the son of Willard and CeCelia A. (Leonard) Rodecap. He attended Meriden High School and worked as a foreman for Mission Township Road Department before retiring in 1997. He was a member of the Minneapolis Moline Collectors Inc. Club, the Prairie Gold Rush Club and the REO Club of America.

He married JunaDell Louise Roberts on Sept. 2, 1955, in Winchester. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Delbert, Dallas; four daughters, Denita Morrison, Nashville, Tenn., Tammy Qualls, Wichita, Sophie Rodecap-Hisle, Overbrook, Sarah Lehman, Pittsburg; two brothers, John W., Perry, James E., Pomona; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel, Topeka, and family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
