He was born July 15, 1930, in Cedar Gap, Mo., the son of Lewis R. and Viola Minnie (Laurie) Cobb. He grew up in Eudora and attended Eudora High School.

Mr. Cobb was a custodian for Kansas University for 15 years until he retired in 1994.

Survivors include three sisters, Reba Falk, Lecompton, Pearl Boster, Topeka, and Wanda Puderbaugh, Meriden.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials to American Heart Assn. or American Cancer Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
