The Douglas County Community Foundation will advise charitable organizations interested in endowment fund raising and building for the future.

The educational program will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Lied Center.

Dave Sternberg of the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy will be the presenter.

The program is part of an ongoing effort by the foundation to provide opportunities for area nonprofits to learn more about fund raising and share ideas with their peers.

A morning session on the same day already is booked with interested organizations. Limited space is available for the afternoon session.

To reserve a spot for Tuesday’s program, contact Sara Corless, the foundation’s executive director, at 843-8727.
